My Personal Chef

I now have a personal chef. John has been having the kids do chores for a while now. One has to do the laundry and the other the dishes. They change off every couple of months as they tire of the duty. Hanna apparently hates dishes AND laundry, so she asked if she can be in charge of the kitchen and the cooking, intead. OKAY, no problem! Now instead of no food, we have stews, chili, cookies, biscuits, pies, etc. I LOVE IT!!!

  1. Awesome, Karley does the same for our family. She's made some pretty awesome dinners. However we've had a few incidences. Sugar cookies, burnt to a crisp. Karley how long did you have them in? For the minimum required time, she assures me. How much time is that? 36 minutes she replys and while looking through the recipe to prove it, she says, oh makes 36 cookies... She even tried a custard recipe, and followed the photo direction of pouring hot water in what looked like the custard cups, but later when eating the very soggy custard, she re-read the directions which said to pour the water in the pan outside the cups to keep the glass from breaking I suppose. 3. Kelly I bet you yelled at her for burning the cookies.

When she didn't have to make the cookies in the first place.

  5. Did you ever have a recipe that calls for a tablespoon of coffee and you put in the grounds, knowing that that cannot be right? It wasn't, so the next time I put in a tablespoon of instant coffee and that wasn't right either.
